
Holly Fisher, MSc Candidate, BSc (Agr)
Originally from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Holly Fisher graduated from a BSc in Agriculture (major in Animal Science) at Dalhousie’s Faculty of Agriculture in 2017, and was voted valedictorian by her classmates. During her time on the Agricultural Campus, Holly has focused on entomophagy, insect consumption, and has recently started her Master of Science degree, which will focus on the use of cricket meal in the diets of poultry. Holly believes entrepreneurship is a key part of moving Nova Scotia forward, and is currently working with Cultiv8, an entrepreneurship sandbox, as the assistant coordinator. Brimming with innovative ideas and an enthusiasm for learning and teaching, Holly speaks passionately about sustainable agriculture and the evolution of our industry’s production systems.
